There is no doubt about it, all brides deserve and should have pamper sessions before the big day, to not only look their best but also feel incredible and confident.
The key to ensuring that the bridal process is an enjoyable one is proper research and planning. There are certain treatments, when done just before the wedding, can have a bride feeling wonderful and full of energy. Another plus is that she will look great as well. Perfect timing is key here and should not be left to the last minute.
6 Months Before The Wedding
This is the time where, if you haven’t started already, you will want to look at following a healthy diet and exercise routine. This boosts confidence and clears out all the impurities in the skin. It is also a great time to lose the extra kilo or two, and leave you feeling confident and radiant on the day.
3 Months Before
Try out sunbeds and spray-tanning, and make your decision which one would be the best for you. This is also where hair removal treatments should be tested to find out which agrees best with your skin. If you’re considering having false lash extensions done, this is the time to try them out. You can either go back to fill them up every two to three weeks or you can have the removed when they start falling out and have them redone.
2 Months Before
Go for your first facial and see how your skin reacts to it. Also, find out whether your salon does a full body exfoliation, as this does wonders for your skin. It is very important that you don’t neglect your back, as this is where the most brides tend to pick up pimples. It takes very long for those blemishes to disappear, thus it is imperative to start early.
1 Months Before
Go for your hair trial, and make sure that you take along any embellishments that you want to place on your head or in your hair. Try to also incorporate our make-up trial here, and try wearing something that would be a similar color to your dress.
2 Weeks Before
This is when you should do your last facial, as you don’t want any surprises to linger on the day. It is also good to keep exfoliating to make sure any dead skin is removed.
1 Week Before
Go for final hair coloring. You can also go for your wax, however, if you’re comfortable that it won’t leave blemishes or ingrown hairs, you can leave it to the day before or even two days before.
2 Days Before
Go for a relaxing massage and have your manicure and pedicure done. If you’re doing spray-tan, this is a good time to have it done to ensure it settles well before you have to put on your dress. This is also a good time to go for your lashes, maximizing the benefit you will have from them during your honeymoon.
